Quality of Mercy
These pots have been likened to eggs of various species (including dinosaurs), mushrooms, seed pods, sea anemones, etc. Clearly they have an energy of being alive, incubating and/or growing.
Their name comes from a phrase that popped into my head when I was asked to give them a name. I had to look it up.
The quality of mercy is not strain’d,
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath.
It is twice blest:
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.
Shakespeare, Merchant of Venice
